Next Sig-ep get together - Sat April 26th, 2008 - Family day at San O!

Hey gang Bartlett and Bennett are the point people for this get together and I am just sending it out. No wimping out on from the bros who live down in SD!

"Heres what we are looking at: April 26, 2008 at Old Mans San Onofre This should give ample time to for those to plan ahead and put us a little closer to spring and a little warmer temps and plenty of winter swell opportunity.
B&B are open to any ideas from everyone in terms of activities for the families (surfing, volleyball, BBQ, sand castle competition for the kids, etc.). I think we should keep it loose and informal so that the goal is to get our families together so the boyz can go surf... or hang out on the beach and just enjoy ourselves.If I'm not mistaken, San O opens their gates at 6am and is first come, first serve in terms of parking and location. It will fill up if there is a large swell running. I believe fees are $10 car and their might be some restrictions for RVs (length and size?).Michael S. Bartlett, MBA"

Dr.Jon and Dimo Visit Skip at "The Cove"

It started out early this morning as Dr. Jon packed up his SUV in San Clemente and drove to HB to get Dimo from there they made the treacherous journey out of the Orange Curtain and up the 405 to meet Skip at his place in PV. With the 3 long boards piled tightly together in a stack less than 10 mins later the 3 amigos where in God's Country..Bluff Cove. After a 5 min walk down and 8 min paddle out they found themselves enjoying waves galore. Just to make sure that Skip and Dimo were ok the Dr. made sure to ride every wave on their shoulder. After 2.5 hrs they decided to call it a day and have the pro photographer Dimo take some shots to be placed on this blog so that everyone could see the beauty of the Cove. Anyone wanting to go who is flexible during the week can meet Skip Tues and or Thurs around 10ish for good times like were had today.

Alpha Class..who were these guys again?

Who the heck are these guys? I was in Alpha class and some of them don't look familiar. I see a 10 year old Lenardson to the far left, Jim Jumpe next to him (Jim was kind enough to send in these pics all the way from the Bay Area), Then there is Jeff Cooper but not sure who Chachi is in front of him or who the guy next to him. On the far right is Greg Fishman. And in this other pic not sure who the guy with the moustache is, must be some pledge from the 909.
